Senior Pastor Tony Karnes

A native of Honolulu, Tony became a Christian in 1994 and has been a part of the Michael Memorial family ever since. In 2000, Tony was ordained into the ministry and joined our staff as Youth Pastor. Then, in 2005, the church called him as Associate Pastor, and in April 2011 he became our Senior Pastor. Tony considers it a "great privilege" to pastor the only church he has ever been a member of. He and his wife, Lisa, have enjoyed the blessing of raising their four children, Kayla, Colton, Cameron, and Kaylie in the MMBC family. 

Associate Pastor Bryan Yates

Bryan was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and became a Christian in 2001 while attending Michael Memorial Baptist Church. Bryan began serving in the Youth Ministry here in 2003, leading small group Bible studies, teaching Sunday School, and preaching on an interim basis. Bryan served as a local firefighter for 14 years before he answered the call to full time ministry in January 2012. At that time, he was ordained as Youth Pastor for No Posers Student Ministry here at Michael Memorial. He has been married to Suzanne since 1994. Suzanne is a local school teacher and they have two children, Bryan (Goose) and Savannah.

Pastor of Disciple-Making Matt Davis

Matt became a follower of Jesus in 1998 and began serving in many capacities within church ministry. He has served as a student pastor, associate pastor and senior pastor in previous churches. He received his Bachelor of Religion degree from Liberty University and completed his Masters of Church Ministries and his Master of Divinity in Theology at Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been married to his wife Melanie since 2002 and they have two children, Natalie and Noah.

Children's Director Siobhan Dickinson

Siobhan surrendered to God's call on her life to work in Children's Ministry in 1999. Since then, Siobhan has served in numerous children's leadership positions at various children's camps, churches, schools, and organizations across the state of Mississippi. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from Mississippi College. She and her husband, Mike, have been married since 2005, and they have three children: Natalie, Aidan, and Claire. Siobhan considers it one of her highest callings to raise up children into Godly leaders. 

Administrator Lyall Neumeier

Lyall is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He became a member of Michael Memorial in 2002. Since 2004, Lyall has served as a Sunday School teacher, worked with the Men's Ministry and traveled to Brazil with our Mission Team. In 2010, Lyall was ordained as a Deacon. Lyall received his undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of South Alabama. Lyall and his wife Trisha live in Gulfport with their two boys, Tyler and Jacob.
