Our Mission

In the beginning, God established a relationship with a man whom He created in His image for His glory. However, the narrative of God’s relationship with man was tragically broken when sin entered the story. The perfect image of God was forever stained by the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden. Consequently, sin would lay to waste everything in its path; leaving creation fractured and every individual hopelessly enslaved to sin. Sin did not win. In fact, God’s mission has always been to restore His relationship with sinful man by sending His son Jesus, “and through him to reconcile himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. (Col. 1:20)” If all of this is true, what should God’s people do today? Here at Michael Memorial, we are a family commissioned by God to embrace His mission by:

Making Disciples at Home, Across the Street, & Around the World.

Our Family

At Michael Memorial, we are a family. We believe that God raises up churches to spread the Gospel, make disciples, and show the world His love. It is our hope that when you visit here, you see that we are serious about Jesus by the way we love each other. We are devoted to the careful study of God’s word, diligent service to our community, and sacrificial commitment to the Great Commission. Everything we do, we strive to do as a family.

Our Message

As Christians, our identity and purpose are bound up in one word: Gospel. The Gospel is the good news that God the Father came to rescue fallen mankind through repentance of sin and faith in the life, death, and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ. The key is understanding that the Gospel is not simply the “starting point” of Christianity. The Gospel is Christianity and we are called to live “gospel-centered” lives.

At Michael Memorial, we desire to live every day lives that reflect the life giving message of the person and work of Jesus Christ. All growth and progress in Christianity is a daily rediscovering of the glory, beauty, and depth of the Gospel.
