Starting Point Class

Pastor Tony has been at MMBC for over 25 years, this longevity has given him a unique opportunity to see how although times and seasons change, people don't. He has noticed that it is often the same things that prevent most people from growing as they should in Christ. This class addresses the six most common obstacles of the Christian life and how to overcome them. If you are new to Michael Memorial, have questions about Christianity or simply need a refresher course, this is the class for you.

The class meets twice a year for 6 weeks during Community Group time in the Conference Room (directly behind the Sanctuary). Lisa has fresh coffee and a snack ready for you.

Everyone is welcome to join us!

What should I expect?

We have Worship Services at 8:15am and 10:45am with a blend of contemporary praise music and traditional hymns.

What should I wear?

At MMBC, we encourage you to come just as you are. Most people attend services in business-casual clothing. But you will also see some suits and ties as well as blue jeans. The most important thing to remember is that God sees our heart and God cares about our heart more than He cares about our style of clothing.

What about my kids?

No matter what age your children might be, we have a special spot for them. Our Preschool is available for the tiniest baby to Kindergarten age. You may utilize this service during any Worship Service and during Community Groups

Our 1st through 6th graders meet in the KidZone on Sunday mornings. They have an interactive worship experience during Worship Service times designed just for kids. At 9:45am the children move into Community Groups which also meets in the KidZone.

What about my teenager?

NoPosers Student Ministries consists of 7th to 12th grade students. All of our student activities take place in the youth building and are directed by our Youth Pastor, Bryan Yates.

Our students meet together every Sunday morning with their grade level for Community Groups at 9:45am. We study topics relevant to students, and we use a one of a kind system that rotates each grade through a different topic every 10 weeks.

Out students gather together every Wednesday at 6:30pm for worship with a praise band and time spent in God's Word. They love coming early to hang out at the café before service!
